Relationship Block: Practice Confession

Confession is powerful, negative or positive. Meanwhile, Confession should not only be limited to declaration of wrongs, crimes, sins or transgression. You can as well openly confess to the world how much you love your spouse. You can confess to your partner how much you can't do without him/her in it's truest sense. Confess to your children how your world is centered around their mum or dad and how having them is more than a blessing too.

Though, your partner may already know some of this confessions, it would be so reassuring for you to boldly declare it and unashamedly say it in the witness of one, two or more people. Other times, your partner doesn't even know, it would be so empowering to clear his/her doubts about your love, shatter his/her ignorance that you do not care and cripple any channel for finding you an alternative.

Many times, my husband gives our children very awesome name, we would often call our daughter "Sweet crush" and "Golden star" and our son "Honey Bonnie" and "Baby angel", and we call ourselves "Heavensent" and me a "Gift". As a little girl, my daughter loves this declaration and always look forward to being called and reminded. She would say to us, mum and dad what do you say to me, then we call her the name. If a girl would value that, how much more an adult?

One morning, very early I sent this short piece to my husband "I have gone far and wide, seen many places and people, met different personalities, had diverse experiences, yet I have never for once outgrown loving and needing you. You remain the apex of my love and desires." And I meant every single line of them. And many other times, I never miss to take advantage of confessing how my heart truly feels towards him and how very special I feel having him always.

The fact and features about confessions is that it's the truth and not a lie. Another is that it's spoken out and heard by another or other and not internalized. The synonyms of confession is declaration, disclosure and openness. There is safety, peace, trust and serenity in confession. And it would breed the atmosphere that love can grow and flourish.

What you are looking for is right at home, you need not to look elsewhere or to someone else; you only need to build what you want to see and feel with the wife of your youth and the husband of your dreams. True love is sweet, but practicing love is sweeter.
